I build growth and community engines for training, education, and combat sports businesses — and partner with the founders who own them.
Operator. Investor. Fifteen years inside the world I serve.
Thesis
The training, education, and combat sports industries are full of operators who are great at the craft and underserved by everyone else. They get pitched the same generic playbook by people who’ve never run their floor, taught their seminar, or been in the cage at five in the morning.
I’ve spent fifteen years inside that world. I know what an enrollment funnel actually feels like when the front desk is short-staffed and a parent walks in confused. I know what a community looks like when it’s healthy, and what it looks like when it’s quietly dying. I know the difference between a coach who can teach and a coach who can teach and sell, and why most businesses are built on the wrong one.
So when I work with a founder, the first thing we throw out is the generic playbook. The second thing we throw out is the assumption that the answer is more software. Almost always, the answer is something simpler, harder, and more honest — and it shows up in the numbers within a quarter.
I don’t take a lot of clients. I take a small number of operators per year, work with them deeply, and put my own time and capital alongside the ones I want to be in business with for a long time.
If that sounds like the shape of partnership you’ve been looking for, you’re in the right place.
How I work
Intelligence Engagements
A focused, time-boxed piece of work. I spend two to four weeks deep inside one specific question — a market, a channel, a community, a positioning problem — and hand back a written body of work the founder can act on without me.
Growth & Community Partnerships
A months-long engagement where I’m operating alongside the founder. Building the growth engine, building the community system, and getting both compounding. Small number of these per year.
Network Operator Partnerships — by invitation only
The deepest form of partnership. Long-term. Equity-aligned. Reserved for the small set of founders I want to be in business with for a decade.
Built in-house
Some of what I do, I do for partners. Some of what I do, I own — because the only way to know whether the playbook actually works is to put it through your own brand.
